Taking part in our painting journey you will not face a „common“ holiday. The Carribbean Sea – regarded on its own – is already a special event, however, new dimensions of travelling can be discovered when seen with the eyes of a painter.
Equipped with a painter´s utensils, we undertook extended excursions to historic places on the island or to as beautiful as breath-taking waterfalls in the unspoilt rain forest.
All the paths were safe and pretty well walkable. In the „Coco Reef Resort & Spa“ hotel we were taken care of in the most comfortable way you can think of, and thus, we were able to start our trips relaxed and in various manners.
I, myself, already have payed visit seven times to the island of Tobago and again and again have been overwhelmed by the people´s friendliness and the unique appearance of nature there. For me, Tobago is the most beautiful of all the islands in the Carribbean Sea as it has been exempted from the streams of tourism so far. Hence, my question: Where could it be easier to meet your own creative „self“ than in such an environment.
If you wish to relax from your hectical day-to-day life, if you love nature, and if you are ready to spend happy days with people of the same kind, then you will be „ready“ to go for Tobago and participate in our „painting journey of exotic extra class“. The small group of not more than 8 people will guarantee an intensive and personal guiding for each painter or „painter-to-begin“. As you are not expected to return home with empty hands. Your suitcase filled with your own paintings and a lot of beautiful memories – a holiday can not be more intensive and fullfilling according to my point of view.

Journey to Tobago dated January 27th to Febr 10
- 27.01.
- Non-stop flight from Frankfurt to Tobago (flight time: 11 h)
- Transfer to the hotel (10-minuntes drive)
- joint dinner and „getting-to-know“ in the painting group
- 28.01.
- Relaxing at the hotel and letting body and soul arrive at Tobago
- in the afternoon: small excursion to „Pigeon Point“ – some call it „the most beautiful beach of the world“
- 29.01.
- Start of painting course in the hotel (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.). We paint looking at motifs from cards, books, etc. – getting into the matter and trying different techniques of acryl / watercolour / pastell chalk painting
- 30.01.
- Painting according to motifs (10 a.m. – noon)
- ( 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.) – Painting at sunset. In the evening we try to paint at sunset underneath palm trees and try to catch the atmosphere in our paintings (in an abstract or concrete way)
- 31.01.
- (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) excursion to the Agal water falls equipped with swimming costumes, towels and scrap books for making sketches.
- (a 30min walking tour)
- 01.02.
- (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) free motif choice used painting techniques : acryl colour /watercolour / pastell chalk
- 02.02.
- (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) free painting of natural motifs of the area (drawings and collages after random findings, such as shells, etc.)
- 03.02.
- no programme - visit of the capital Scarborough with course guide possible
- 04.02.
- (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) excursion around the island „Visiting the Rain Forest“ (easy walking tour of about 1 hour) with scrap book
- 05.02.
- (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) trying to fix the impressions of the island excursion into a painting (acc. to photos or from your memory ) at the hotel
- 06.02
- (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) „Wellness – Painting“, i.e. expressing emotions and feelings with colours
- 07.02. and 05.02. no programme – joint ventures can be made voluntarily
- 08.02.
- free painting on the hotel area (4 p.m.) final discussions and exhibition of all paintings
- 09.02.
- no programme – just relax or go sight-seeing
- 10.02.
- Return flight Tobago to Frankfurt non-stop
