Painting in Brasilia
Painting in Brasilien from November, 11nd to November, 26nd 2009.
Situated: It takes about 1 hour to get from the airport t Salvador Bahia to the wonderful Pousada Luor da Praia
which is situated along the Costa do Sauipe in a typical brasilian
The village Imbassai is situated directly at the sea. Accomodation: The site has been run for year in a loving way by the Swiss owner himself. It comprises 14 rooms and 2 suites with view on the sea , a pool, an excellent restaurant and a bar with view on the sea.
Rooms: all equipped with TV, refridgerator, air ventilation system or air condition system, bathroom equipped with WC and shower. The suites with view on the sea are more spacious and have a large terrace with 2 hammocks.
During the painting course the participants can try out or deepen their skills in different painting techniques: Water-colour, acryl, pastell and oil chalk, indian ink, charcoal. Our inspirations come from the wonderfull island, from the people around, as well as, from the caribic colours, that make us try to catch this life style in our paintings. The course also is suitable for absolute beginners. Excursions to the waterfalls, the rain forest and guided tours around the island will make the journey complete. Having come back to Germany, our participants will have the chance to show their paintings at an exhibition. This will be organised as a charity event by the organisation „Save the Rain Forest“ . We also welcome non-painting companions.
